Summarising the learning outcomes of this module, one should now be able to identify and recognise cyber threats and potential frauds to proactively protect himself and/or the organisation/company one is working with. Learning about the types of cyber threats, one should be able to cultivate the “protective behaviour”, and then encourage cyber protection to one’s environment on personal and professional level.
Through a walkthrough of the timeframe of Cyber threats and Cyber security, an analysis of all the types of attacks & threats is combined with the main defence mechanisms online & offline, to create awareness and knowledge on the matter. An evolving, organic, and constantly developing online world demands awareness, knowledge, and skills, to prevent possible frauds/attacks/crimes regarding one’s online privacy and security.
